With a history of over 40 years, Williamson Manufacturing is a recognised supplier of
quality plastic caps and dropper assemblies to the pharmaceutical and wholesale packaging industries in
Australia , New Zealand and South East Asia . The steadfast commitment to quality and service to our
customers has been an underlying principle contributing to the success of our business.
Our range of
plastic caps include child resistant and "senior friendly" closures approved by the Therapeutic Goods
Administration Australia. WILLSAFE™, WILLIAMSON 2000 SERIES and TAMPERDISC™ are our patented products.
We offer dropper assemblies of plastic stems with a choice of printed graduations and glass stems
that include our popular bent range. We also offer options of child resistance or tamper-evidence.
By sourcing the best technology from around the world we aim to produce for the marketplace the
highest possible quality products at a cost effective price.
From humble beginnings, the business has outgrown successive factories to be now located in a new purpose
built factory and are proud to include leading pharmaceutical corporations in its customer base.
History
| 1966 | After a decade of experience in the manufacture of glass vials for the pharmaceutical industry, Mr Vere Williamson establishes Williamson Mfg Pty Ltd and Williamson Plastics Pty Ltd to produce glass droppers and plastic caps primarily for pharmaceutical applications. | |
| 1971 | Williamson & Co is added to the group of companies. | |
| 1985-1993 | TGA Australia approves WILLSAFE™ child resistant caps range - first Australian designed child resistant closure to be approved. | |
| 1994 | AS/NZS ISO9001:1994 certification | |
| 1996 | TGA Australia approves TAMPERDISC child resistant and tamper evident range of caps. | |
| 1999 | Business moves to new purpose built factory at Yagoona , New South Wales . | |
